The Opportunity
We now have an amazing opportunity to be PARTT of something meaningful. As a key member of our Care Services team, you will play a hands-on role supporting participants in our Community Access Programme and in-home care services
The successful candidates will possess the experience to work with individuals with complex care needs. Local applicants are preferred.
Key Duties Include:
Medication administration
Home Based Daily Living Support
Taking participants for appointments and other community participation
Behaviour observation and support
Meal preparation and shopping assistance
Maintaining a record of participant progress
Assessing participants to determine continuing needs
Assistance in building participant self-image and self-confidence
Manual Handling of participants
Availability to cover a range of shifts including sleepovers and weekends
All other tasks as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
Who We're Looking For
We are seeking experienced, capable support workers.
The successful candidates will have:
Own vehicle for transport with comprehensive insurance.
Ability to work varied shifts, including short shifts.
Certificate III or IV in Disability, Ageing or related industries highly regarded.
Current First Aid & CPR certificate.
Current National Police Clearance.
Current NT Unrestricted Driver’s Licence.
Current NDIS Worker’s Check.
Current OCHRE Card.
