Hands on People (HOP) is a community services provider dedicated to supporting individuals living with disabilities. Our mission is to empower our clients by helping them navigate government and insurance schemes, including the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS), to access support more efficiently. Job Description

Key Requirements:

  • Proven experience in an IT support or technician role.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills across Windows and/or Mac systems.
  • Familiarity with networking basics (Wi-Fi, routers, IP settings, etc.).
  • Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar platforms.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Relevant qualifications in IT (Cert III/IV, Diploma, or equivalent experience).

Desirable:

  • Experience in a small business or not-for-profit environment.
  • Familiarity with cloud-based systems and remote support tools.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices.

Work Schedule & Conditions:

  • 3 days per week (flexible days are negotiable).
  • Casual or fixed-term contract, depending on candidate preference.

Desired Skills and Experience

Required experiences

  • A minimum of 1 year's experience in IT support or a related field
  • Experience in providing technical support to end-users in a corporate environment
  • Proven track record of managing IT projects from conception through to completion
  • Experience with maintaining IT documentation and user guides
  • Familiarity with IT asset management and inventory control procedures
  • Previous experience working with cloud-based services and applications is an advantage
